What we actually do.
Three connected practice areas backed by ten-plus years inside critical infrastructure and active doctoral research at the University of South Carolina.
Cybersecurity & OT/ICS
Vulnerability management, RMF/NIST 800-53 compliance, NERC CIP, SCADA/ICS hardening, incident response, and digital forensics — built inside a 2.7M-customer utility control center and active DoD cyber-range operations.
AI Systems & Compiler R&D
LLVM/MLIR compiler infrastructure, neural-processor ISA mapping, RISC-V workflows, SystemVerilog FPGA development, CUDA/GPU tuning, and algorithmic analysis — tied to doctoral research on next-generation CHIPS-Act-aligned AI silicon.
Nuclear & STEM Workforce
Nuclear Engineering Technology consulting, reactor safety modeling, university-pathway STEM curriculum design, secure LMS deployment, and asynchronous/distance-learning support — bridging operational engineering and the workforce that will inherit it.
Built for the critical sixteen.
The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency designates sixteen critical infrastructure sectors. Our current capability statement maps operational engagements and technical expertise to seven designated sectors, with past performance called out across Energy, Defense, Nuclear, IT, and DoD.
We engage as a prime on small-business set-asides and as a subcontractor on larger primes, particularly where SDVOSB participation goals are required.
An active research footprint inside a federal R1.
Our principal is an active Ph.D. candidate in Computer Engineering at the University of South Carolina, contributing to research on heterogeneous and reconfigurable computing — the substrate of modern AI accelerators and trusted-foundry silicon.
HeRC Lab.
The Heterogeneous and Reconfigurable Computing (HeRC) group at the University of South Carolina works at the intersection of compiler infrastructure, computer architecture, and reconfigurable hardware — the same set of problems that underpin modern AI accelerators, RISC-V systems, and CHIPS-Act-aligned domestic silicon programs.
Our principal’s dissertation focuses on LLVM/MLIR compiler optimization for novel neural processor architectures, including dialect development, neural-processor ISA mapping, and scheduling algorithms for AI workloads on emerging hardware backends. Adjacent work covers SystemVerilog FPGA development and CUDA / GPU performance engineering.
For federal customers and primes pursuing advanced semiconductor work, DoD Trusted Foundry programs, or AI/ML system R&D, this academic anchor translates directly into technical credibility — not as a promise, but as a publication track and an active codebase.
Where we’ve done the work.
Operational engagements span five sectors called out in the capability statement: Energy, Defense, Nuclear, IT, and DoD.

We’re also building the next generation of engineers.
Borel Enterprises, Inc. — veteran-led K-12 STEM tutoring, approved scholarship provider in seven states.
A separate Borel-family company under common veteran ownership, Borel Enterprises operates a nationwide K-12 STEM platform taught by active practitioners — including Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, C++, Nuclear Physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, and related STEM pathways. The same operational and technical discipline that drives our federal practice runs through our classroom.
For federal and state customers, this arm is relevant in two ways: (1) it positions us against STEM workforce-development contracts, ESA / scholarship program participation, and DoD, DoE, and NSF workforce-development execution, and (2) it demonstrates a documented, sustained pipeline from operational engineering into K-12 instruction.
